The TCPDC family of DC-DC power converters was designed to satisfy a market for low cost, high reliability bulk power. The TCPDC is especially suitable for critical systems in remote locations, severe environment, redundant (N+1) or battery backup uninterruptible operation. This versatile design is loaded with options, making it particularly suitable to telecommunications and industrial controls. Up to 5 units of this model may be connected in parallel for increased power.

The TCP-DC DC-DC Converter is available as a standard, COTS, or modified product and can be embedded in custom systems.

LOW VOLTAGE BATTERY DISCONNECT
The LVBD module adds a new dimension to battery backup power supplies. The power supply simultaneously charges the battery and powers the load. If the input power fails the battery continues to support the load. However, when the battery voltage drops below a predetermined level, the LVBD module disconnects the battery from the load, thereby protecting it from the damaging effects of deep discharge.
